IBM Lotus Knows

People thought that Lotus was just an email program. To demonstrate its ability to connect multiple sources of live data, we connected Heathrow's live air traffic control data and live scores from the Wimbledon Tennis Championship.

We then mashed it up with players’ nationalities to create live, useful, customised messages for departing passengers at Heathrow’s Terminal Five.

Over 300 different headlines appeared on 73 digital airport screens during the two weeks of the Wimbledon Tennis Championships.
